Instagram Fonts

Type once, copy the style you like and paste it into your Instagram bio, name or caption.

Instagram has no font menu for your bio or captions, but it shows Unicode letters. These styles are built from Unicode characters, so they survive copy and paste into the Instagram app, the website and other apps.

Use them as an accent, not for everything: Instagram search, hashtags and screen readers do not treat these characters as normal letters. Keep your name and keywords in plain text as well, and put the fancy version in the display name, a headline or the first line of a caption.

Everything runs inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored on our server, so it also works for private material.

How it works

  1. Type or paste your text Your name, a caption or a few words. Everything stays in your browser.
  2. Pick what you need Tap a style, a symbol or the copy button next to the result.
  3. Paste it into the app Instagram bio, TikTok name, a LinkedIn post or a chat: paste and save.

FAQ

How do I change the font in my Instagram bio?

Type your text above, tap Copy next to the style you like, then open Edit profile in Instagram and paste it into the Bio or Name field.

Why do some letters show as boxes?

Older phones or apps miss a few Unicode characters. Bold, italic and script work almost everywhere; bubbles and squares need a newer system font.

Do fancy fonts hurt my reach?

They are not read as normal words, so they do not help search or hashtags. Use them for style and keep important words in plain text.
