SRT to VTT Converter

Drop a file and get VTT back in seconds. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs on your own device.

SRT: The most common subtitle format, used by YouTube, Premiere, Resolve and most players.

VTT: WebVTT, the subtitle format for web players and HTML5 video.

The conversion runs inside your browser with WebCodecs, the video engine built into modern browsers. That is why there is no upload, no queue and no file size limit set by us: only your device's memory limits it. Your file stays private.

Converter engine: Mediabunny (MPL-2.0) on WebCodecs. MP3 encoding: LAME (LGPL).
