Ringtone Maker for iPhone and Android

Pick the best 30 seconds of a song and save it as a ringtone.

The file is saved as M4R, the ringtone format the iPhone uses, which is AAC audio in an MPEG-4 file. Android phones play it too: rename it to .m4a if your phone does not list it.

The conversion runs inside your browser with WebCodecs, the video engine built into modern browsers. That is why there is no upload, no queue and no file size limit set by us: only your device's memory limits it. Your file stays private.

Only want to measure? The LUFS meter shows integrated loudness and true peak without changing the file.

Converter engine: Mediabunny (MPL-2.0) on WebCodecs. MP3 encoding: LAME (LGPL).

FAQ

How do I put the ringtone on my iPhone?

On a Mac, connect the iPhone, open it in Finder and drag the .m4r file onto it. Without a computer, import the file into GarageBand on the iPhone and use Share, then Ringtone.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The file is processed in your browser and never sent to our server.

Is there a file size limit?

We don't set one. Very large files need enough free memory on your device; a computer handles more than a phone.

Which browsers work?

Chrome and Edge on computers and Android work best. Safari works in recent versions. If your browser lacks a codec, the tool tells you.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no daily limit.
