HEIC to JPG Converter

Drop your HEIC files and save them as JPG in seconds. Nothing is uploaded.

HEIC: The format iPhones save photos in since iOS 11. Small files and great quality, but many websites, Windows apps and older programs can't open it.

JPG: The most common photo format. Small files, works everywhere, but no transparency.

Ideal for iPhone photos you want to send, upload or open on Windows. Drop a whole batch from your camera roll; each one comes back as a JPG.

The images are converted inside your browser with the canvas built into every modern browser. Your photos never leave your device, and the converted files contain no location or camera data.

HEIC decoding: libheif (LGPL-3.0), loaded only if your browser can't read HEIC itself.

How it works

  1. Drop your images Or tap to choose. You can pick many at once.
  2. Pick the options Quality, target size or new size, depending on the tool.
  3. Save Click Convert, then save each file or all at once.

FAQ

How do I stop my iPhone from saving HEIC?

Settings, Camera, Formats, then choose Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG. Existing photos stay HEIC.

Is quality lost?

At High quality the difference is not visible. Maximum keeps even more detail, with bigger files.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to our server.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no limit on the number of files.

What happens to the photo's metadata?

The converted file is drawn fresh, so EXIF data like GPS location and camera model is removed. The orientation is applied to the pixels, so the photo stays upright.
